The Mids at BackShaft Productions have decided not to limit their talents to the inter-service rivalries. Winners of the Old Spice War that brought with it the honor of holding the title of best 2010 Air Force-Navy Spirit Spot, Backshaft is now offeing up a window into the interrogation with Notre Dame’s Leprechaun. Too bad the interrogation didn’t go down during the Rumsfeld years. Who knew that Captain Crunch supports the “Global Force for Good”? It’s the ultimate sign of respect, I guess. Or just plain pathetic. You choose. Losing to Navy two of the past three years has finally stuck in the craw of Notre Dame’s legion of fans. Gone are the days of looking at Navy football as a guaranteed “W” on the schedule. Ellerson brought back the option offense…
It’s June, still two months before the 2010 college football season starts, but anytime a service academy gets ranked above Notre Dame, After Action will boast about it. Sure, sure, we know Navy and Air Force ended last season ranked higher than Notre Dame, but it’s still fun to kick a dog when it’s down. Lindy’s isn’t ESPN or Sports Illustrated, but it’s still a respected sports magazine. They released their 2010 pre-season rankings with Navy 44th and Notre Dame 49th. Lindy’s rankings also predict a relatively easy schedule for the Midshipmen — with Notre Dame being the highest-ranked team…
