If you start a game by not scoring for almost 10 minutes, you’re probably going to lose, and lose big. That’s what happened to Air Force last night, as the Falcons went scoreless until the 10:14 mark en route to a 70-48 drubbing by San Diego State. The Aztecs shot terrible themselves during that time but nevertheless managed to jump out to a 12-0 lead, and they would not trail for the rest of the game.

Grant Parker had a team-high 14 points for Air Force, which now stands at 9-12 overall and 1-7 in the Mountain West Conference.

The loss comes one game after Air Force ended its 22-game MWC regular season losing steak.

Here’s a game story.

Here’s the box score.
