3rd and 4th Place Fights, 2010 Combatives Tournament

There was blood and sweat but no tears during the 3rd and 4th place fights at the 2010 Combatives Tournament being held at Fort Benning, Georgia. The final day of the tournament started with the 3rd and 4th place fights with the Championships to follow. There were submissions that sent the crowd to their feet and heartbreaks from split decisions. Fighters, fans and coaches packed the house to cheer on their fighters.

Bantam Weight: by submission rear neck choke hold

Fly Weight: by submission — arm bar

Light Weight: by split decision — very bloody fight

4th Thomas Soto, Fort Bliss, Texas

Welter Weight: by submission — arm bar

3rd Jason Kwast, Fort Bragg, N.C.

4th Anthony Aqoun, Guam

Middleweight: by submission — triangle choke hold

4th Travis Anderson, Maneuver Center of Excellence, Fort Benning, Ga.

Cruiser Weight: by unanimous decision they were swinging like crazy and nearly flew out of the ring twice
