Medal of Honor recipient Thomas Hudner to be at midfield for Army-Navy coin toss

Thomas J. Hudner Jr. received the Medal of Honor for his actions as a pilot in the Korean War (MC2 Kevin S. O'Brien / Navy)

The Philadelphia Inquirer has a great story about Thomas J. Hudner Jr., a retired Naval aviator and only living Naval Academy graduate to be awarded the Medal of Honor, who will be at midfield for the coin toss of the Army-Navy game tomorrow.

While the game is about sportsmanship and bragging rights, stories like this remind everyone of what these cadets and Midshipmen will face once they leave their respective academies. Hudner himself is interesting because of how his career intersected with history. Definitely worth reading.
