The UFC is coming to Fort Hood on Jan. 22 for Fight for The Troops 2, aka Guys Crushing Each Other In Front of a Raucous Crowd of Troops For a Good Cause.

The event will be broadcast live on Spike TV and features headline fighters Melvin Guillard and Evan Dunham, two of the top up-and-coming lightweight fighters in the organization. The event raises money for the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, which helps families of troops who have been killed or severely wounded in service to their county.

  1. It’s great that the UFC and Spike did this again. There were some good bouts too. As a huge fan of MMA, Spike has become my favorite channel with all the MMA content they broadcast. I’ve been a DISH Network customer for years now (recently I became employed by them as well) but I procrastinated on making the switch to HD for a long time. But with the prices of high def TV’s getting very reasonable and DISH’s expansive selection of HD channels I made the jump. This was the first MMA event I experienced in high definition and I was blown away. The pristine clarity made a huge difference in the experience. I got to say if you can’t actually be there at an event HD is the only way to watch the fights, anyone still watching in SD I would highly recommend you make the switch.
