A channel named historycomestolife has posted a trove of rare old film clips to YouTube, including some short montages from two Army-Navy games.
The first one I found was from the 1927 game, played at the old Polo Grounds in New York. Curtis D. Wilbur, the SECNAV at the time, is among those featured:
The second is Army’s 23-7 win in 1944, played at Baltimore Municipal Stadium. West Point went 9-0 that season and won the first of two consecutive national championships. The legendary Glenn Davis is featured in this video, as well as shots of Gen. George Marshall and Gen. Hap Arnold:
Another video on the channel has highlights from Army’s 1944 win over Notre Dame.
