Caleb Campbell told After Action on Tuesday that he’d be signing a contract with the Detroit Lions “very, very soon,” and he followed through on that Thursday, signing a deal with the team before the start of rookie mini camp. Campbell’s bio page is already up on the Lions’ official website, and a short interview with Campbell was the top story on the site Friday morning. I spoke with 1st Lt. Caleb Campbell yesterday to find out where he is in the process of leaving active duty and pursing a career in the NFL.
