Last night was the annual Army Bowl, which pits Fort Campbell High School against Fort Knox High School in a battle of neighboring Army posts. Cue the melodramatic music and get ready for some awesome slow-motion shots: NFL Films is at Fort Campbell this week to film a piece about the post’s high school football team. Earlier this year, Sports Illustrated wrote a powerful story about the Fort Campbell Falcons, who’ve won three consecutive Tennessee 2A championships. The Falcons, who went undefeated in 2009, are composed of kids whose parents are soldiers in the 101st Airborne Division or the Nightstalkers.
