Sounds like NFL coaches currently visiting troops on a USO tour are getting an earful from the troops about the NFL lockout. “They were chanting, ‘End the lockout,’ this morning,” said former Atlanta and Seattle head coach Jim Mora, one of the coaches visiting the Middle East as part of a NFL-USO Coaches Tour. “Nine hundred-ninety out of 1,000 questions I get are about the lockout,” said Mora. “If they were holding negotiations over here, they’d be done. Former Air Force standout and current Philadelphia Eagle wide receiver Chad Hall isn’t standing around waiting for the NFL lockout to be resolved. He needs money, like right now, so he’s taking some measures to maintain a decent income, ESPN’s Rick Reilly reports. First, Hall is offering his services as a personal trainer for his friends’ kids. But on the more adventuresome side, Hall is also looking into opening a wing joint in Atlanta with Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford, who happens to be dating Hall’s sister.
