Army didn’t score the 40 points I predicted, but they did what needed to be done against visiting VMI. Jared Hassin ran for a career-high 158 yards and a touchdown on just 14 carries. It was his third consecutive 100-yard game, and as a team, the Cadets finished with 316 yards on the ground. The play of the game, however, came when Donovan Travis and Jordon Trimble combined to give West Point their final score of the game on a 79-yard interception return.
